About Brian Desrochers

Brian Desrochers has been a contractor since 2000 but his roots in building go back much further. With a father, brother and uncles who were all carpenters and handy men in general, Brian developed an eye for strong workmanship and the craft of quality woodwork early on. His father had the most significant influence on him. “In addition to being gifted with carpentry, my dad was extremely well-organized and well-equipped,” says Brian. “His workbench was meticulously arranged and well-stocked — ready for whatever renovation or home repair task came his way.”

A clear vision for our clients

Today, Brian’s greatest satisfaction comes from arriving at a clear vision with his clients of what they want their renovation to be, and ultimately exceeding their expectations with the final product. “Collaboration is fun,” he says. “But it’s the crystallization of what they have in mind with what I see as possible, that really gets me excited.”

One of the reasons that Brian’s clients all come from referrals is that he goes beyond just delivery of a quality renovation. “Brian is an extremely likeable guy,” says Sarah Banks, one of Brian’s clients.  “You don’t realize how important it is to have a contractor who is consistently friendly and positive – not mention helpful and generous.

Brian Desrochers

Brian started Sherwood in 2001 and has built this business one customer at a time. He keeps the operation small enough to work on all the jobs, and oversees all phases. Brian has close relationships with his staff, sub-trades and suppliers making sure everyone is on board with the customer’s vision. He is there every step of the way.

Stefania Crilly

Stefania has an indelible reputation with all her customers, fellow designers, and suppliers. Vision and design are number one, and working with Stefania is a pleasure. She will help you develop your vision into real plans by bringing them to life with hand-renderings, 3-D, and Auto CAD. Her Fine Arts and Interior Design training along with her construction knowledge brings her to all the jobs sites, no matter the condition, making sure the design is achieved.
